It hid in the darkness,
Crept up from behind,
When we all were unaware,
It struck from behind.
It shattered our houses,
Our lives, our dreams.
It struck with all its might,
It showed us the power of nature,
Took with it thousands of lives.
There was no place to run,
Nowhere to hide,
We could do nothing,
But face our plight.
The nation was swept clean,
Thousands had died,
Hundreds were homeless.
With no place to hide.
It took from us our loved ones,
It took from us our friends and families.
It took from us our life.
Can we make sense of this all?
We will never be the same again,
Will we ever trust?
The ground we walk on.
When I'm asleep,
Why do I dream?
In my dreams,
Why do I fly?
When I get up,
Why do I cry?
In my dreams,
Why do I see stars?
When I wake up,
I see Jail bars.
In my dreams,
Why do I see freedom?
When I open my eyes,
I see racism.
In my dreams,
Why do I see nature, love and peace?
When I open my eyes,
I see distruction, warfare and crime.
In my dreams,
Why do I see happiness?
When I get up I see pain.
Can we still sleep?
We are killing our dreams.
Strange as it was,
Wired as it seems,
The large bottomed,
The silver pumpkin.
All these years,
It sat on my farm,
It looked so calm,
Never moved an inch.
I tried to move it once,
Ended up with swelling lungs,
It sat there like a king,
Sitting on his golden ring.
Maybe I should leave it,
Maybe I shouldn't bother,
What do I mean maybe,
There is nothing I can do.
This was no ordinary Vegetable,
This was the silver Pumpkin.
Mischievous eyes,
Faking to cry,
Questions beyond belief,
But the innocent laugh.
He wanted to play,
By the sea in the bay,
Little puddles on the dock,
Between the fishermen's stock.
His eyes followed the ships,
Into the sun, with such mystery,
He was the little Timmy,
The Captain's son.
The docks were his playgrounds,
Ships were his way round'
The captain's cap he wore all day,
And ordered the fisherman around.
They loved him as their own,
The sea was his mother,
And the sky was his home.
The dark day came,
Fisherman dressed in black,
Tears in the captain's eye,
Silence left all around,
No more puddles of water,

Mistydreams - A dedication
The magical smile,
Her heart so pure,
She is the epitome,
Of what we call,
Friendship.
Crystal pure,
Is her heart.
Like a free bird,
Flies her spirit.
Like a child,
Is her innocence.
Like a candle,
She spreads light.
With so much beauty,
Inside.
She heals pain,
And Understands,
Her soul is an angel's,
She is a blessing to me.
Willing to talk,
Her enchanting thoughts,
And wondrous words,
With nothing but,
Kindness all around.
She has a mind so calm,
She makes me wonder,
Are friends sent from above?
Who make us complete?
Are there ones we just meet?
Or those, who just greet?
All this doesn't matter,
Once we find t

She Enters -The experience
She enters the room,
Glasses dropped.
* chass *
Moves ahead,
Graceful, like a goddess,
* eyes wide open *
Sits by my side,
shivers up my spine
* brrrrrr *
Her hand falls on mine,
My hands shake,
* Like a rabbit in a trap, shake..skake *
Her eyes say sorry,
Her hand moves away.
* "What the hell is wrong with me?" *
Mine stays right there,
like a bird in a cage.
* "move hand move" *
Smiles at me,
with a smile so beautiful.
* The moon hides in the clouds *
Says bye, waves bye,
My eye follows her hand
* Like a dog's eye following food *
Left stunned,
Didn't know what hit me,

{walking home that night..}
Silent road,
As I approached,
The silence broke,
In an alley,
Worn torn and sore,
A man lay on the floor.
Behind came another,
Bloody and smothered,
Knife with blood all over,
A wallet, some clothes,
And a chain that,
Probably belonged to a lover.
{soon...}
Cops swamped the place,
Pulled the man,
Threw the knife,
Kicked him flat,
On his face.
Drunk and doped,
With just a cigarette,
And hardly clothed,
Hey lay there,
As the people stoned.
{someone here,something strange..}
Stood behind me,
A tall guy,
Hands were stained,
His smile told the story,
He looked at me, as I knew,
And whispere
The distorted image,
Before my eyes
Like a rug,
Flying from place to place,
In a desert.
The distorted image,
Haunts my soul,
Kills the fears
So it can rule.
Have me all to itself.
The distorted image,
Implanted into my mind,
Forced into my life, Pain;
I need no more,
I cant' take it anymore.
Waited in the shadow,
Of the tree outside,
She was coming,
From the far sea,
A journey, just to meet me.
{It's been an hour}
{Now it's been two}
Looking at my watch,
My patience is running out,
I begin to curse her,
Infant just her punctuality,
Ridiculous thoughts,
Jokes filled with insanity,
"I give her good!" let her come.
